Prevent line breaks for inline formulas in LaTeX

In order to prevent line breaks for inline formulas in LaTeX, simply add the following to the preamble of your document:

\relpenalty=9999
\binoppenalty=9999

These are the penalties for breaking lines in formulas involving relation symbols and binary operators, respectively. The highest value for these variables is 10000. When set to this value, line breaks will never occur - even in the most extreme conditions.
