OpenOffice is great when you need to make presentations with Linux. Micros*&t Powerpoint under Wine is extremely buggy (and bugging). However, it takes a bit of time getting used to Impress. One of the things which took me a while to figure out was how to decrease the indent in a bullet list. In Powerpoint, there are intuitive buttons to increase/decrease the indent:
Such buttons do not exist in Impress (or if they do, I haven't found them), but it is still just as easy to indent your bullet lists properly. To increase the indent, hit Tab. To decrease the indent, hit Shift+Tab. Simple!
